Beauty and the Beast
So I'll start with my weekend.
Thursday-skipped my last class since the weekend couldn't have come soon enough.Adam's parents came for dinner and my mom sent up christmas decorations so we decorated the apartment. Then we staged an intervention so sam would hang out with us, but all he wanted to do was wait for his girlfriend to come online and tell him whether or not she could come sleep over at his mom's house this weekend. And Yeah she could so he was happy. Anyways we ended up playing asshole on sam's bed and sam was asshole the entire game, but he didn't really care.
Friday-i slept in and went christmas shopping, everything I got was an awesome deal, and I even got a knit sweater and waffle top for me.
Saturday-i slept in and got all dressed up to go see beauty and the beast, the band was soooooooo absolutely amazing, so the music was great. Belle was soo pretty and looked exactly like her, gaston wasnt egocentric enought, and the father was way toooo skinnny, and so was the beast, the beast had this weird halloween beastie dog mask covering his face, but then came intermission and everything after that blew me away, the beast was in his fancy clothes trying to impress belle and he looked so great and everything was perfect after intermission. Michelle and I totally loved it and then we went to get on the bus and we were waiting for a while when michelle noticed that spot we were wating at stops at 9 o'clock and right at the moment a 95 comes just behind and we ran and hoped on with about 70000004598682372366546567903482 other people we had alittle too much pre-drinking, and were very loud but there was some nice guy standing with us getting smushed. The we went to zak's and I had a vanilla milkshake with poutine made with curly fries....which was soooo good except the gravy was kind of weird....OVERALL CRAZY AMAZING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday- sleep in do some cleaning which included the toaster oven, so I have heavy duty oven cleaner, which u need to wear gloves to use and smells soooo much i almost suffocated....
yeah, so that was weekend adventure so far, its going to be topped on with some good tv watching tonight, desparate housewives and studio 60...yay

Been awhile, but this was my day
Today I had to wake up early, so i could go see SANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was totally worth it. Adam and I with jenn went to go see the santa claus parade downtown, and had hot chocolate.My favourite float was the OC transpo one, it was a santa bus, and jenn and I got lots of candy cause we are girls, and adam was jealous. We also got some very weird gum candy canes, first of all they are kind of yellow-ish white colour, second they don't really taste like anything, well except GROSS and third they are slightly but not complete chewing like gum....soooo weird. Then adam and I went home and had soup and ham and cheese wraps.
Then I did some work, surprisingly alot of work, but I still need to do more later, during SNL. Adam and I then got in a kind of fight over something stupid, but everything ended happily ever after, and we went to see james bond with sarah and kevin which was AWESOME!!!!! but the ending was slightly disappointing because I kept thinking is movie is suppose to be very long and it hasn't seemed that long. Overall, very good and craig is very smooth and sauve.
As for now, kevin, adam and I are going to have a drink, well more like drink and make nachos and laugh very hard hopefully from SNL, if its funny. Adam has been saying that this season sucks, I'll just have to check it out for myself.

Pretty Darn Proud of Myself
Well tonight, I drank with the boys, played with the boys and beat the boys. That's right!!! I WON!!!!!
So, adam had a couple fo guys over to play poker and since it is also my place, I decided to play too. I drank crown royal and ginger ale my new favourite drink, and played like a cold hearted bitch, but in the end it was all worth it cause I came away with the $12 jackpot. WOO HOO!!!!
Anyways other than that nothing to interesting. I went for lunch with dayna, we went to quiznos and then got gelato(is it was at the gelato place we went to marie and jenn, which we need to visit again). She then gave me my very late birthday present which was a twix and a red billabong t-shirt, which is very cute and fits perfectly. I am so excited to wear it. It was so nice of her to get me a present she was going to mail me a package but forgot and then so much time went by she figured she'd just wait till school started again. She really wasn't that bad of a roommate to be honest. And I got to talk about MTV and laguna beach, which always makes me happy.
P.S. jenn i need to crash your place wednesday nights since she actually get mtv.
basically that was my day with lots of reading in between. But all that matters is that I BEAT THE BOYS....hehehe

[Link] | My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the dawson community.
SOOOOO its been a while. UMm since the last update school has started. Classes aren't bad except for the crazy amount of writing and aboriginal language kind of sucks, I don't really want to learn cree, so we're trying to get switched into anatomy, hopefully that all works out. NO essay assignements so far, which is AWESOME. adam has a 30 page paper to write...haha
OOOOO, I'll tell you about my weekend. Steph's wedding was sooo nice. They got married at Bean Town Ranch just outside of wendover. They is like a man made pond with an island in the middle nad they shared their first day on the island with a spot light on them and fireworks going off over them. HOW COOL IS THAT!!!! Overall, it was a good time had by all.
Saturday was filled with my family, it was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. It was really nice to see alot of family I don't get to see very often because of geography. The food was awesome and my grandparents got congratulation plaques from stephen harper and michelle jean which is very cool. Overall, I good time was had there.
umm other than that not a whole lot, else lots of class and discussion groups and readings. Saturday I am meeting dayna for lunch and hopefully sometime over the weekend get a chance to hang out with the girls next door. And once again I am so glad your my neighbours.
OKay so as for yesterday, I got home around 1:45 turn on the tv which of course is on newsworld because a great canadian had a space walk yesterday morning. Anyways I was watching and see all the terrible stuff happening in montreal and I was watching for a good 15mins before they said it was taking place at Dawson, and as soon as I heard that I started freaking out, going I know people there. SO i turn on my computer as fast as possible and started talking to jenn and she was like blah blah...and I was freaking out finally she told me everything and then I was liek well I don't really want to sit here by myself waiting to see what happens so I ran over to michelle's and watched it together and jenn came to michelle's shortly after I got there and we watched the news and were all over the internet talking to people, finally we were able to say that everyone we knew was physically okay and alive.
OKay I know this is nothing compared to what happened to the people actually at dawson, and I was freaking out like a crazy person so I cannot imagine in my deepest darkest thoughts what it could have been like. ANd I just really hope that everyone is doing okay and that all your classmates and friends are okay and that you all know that so many people care for you and wish the best for the victims, their families and all the dawson community.
On that note, I will continue to slowly try and get my big pile of homework to shrink.

Star Trek
I decided to post about my day to continue to avoid star trek. Adam and Sam are watching it and since there is only one tv I am out of luck. So thank you very much frankie for talking to me for so long. And the I named all my 200 camp pictures rather than them having names like ASOOOO568321PP3 which is no use to me, then I changed my hotmail back to beta since I had to change it at the end of last year since that version doesn't work on my family computer. The beta one is way cooler. Anyways today was filled with sleeping in, getting dressed meeting jenn at the rideau center for lunch and alittle shopping where I got a super pretty AE book bag which I wanted. SO YAY. Then jenn came over and she saw the apt with furniture this time which is much better looking. We then preceeded to the swimming pool and the roof, which was shortly followed by some tv watching. Overall, it was a good time had by all. Then jenn left and I returned the movie I rent with kate (aqaumarine) hehe, don't laugh, it was good.
Adam then made baked mac and cheese for supper, which brings me to now.....stuck watching star trek. WOO HOO
SO, to tomorrow, my game plan is...see adam's family since i didn't see them saturday when they came, then go to the adelsa meeting with kate, and buy books. Wednesday will include shopping at wal-mart, and first-year linguistics meet and greet with ice breakers and ice cream...lots of ice involved. Thursday brings class and home and friday and saturday is look pretty and go out days, wedding friday and grandparents saturday, sooooo sunday is going to include nothing, welll actually ikea....but thats a pretty no-sweat kind of thing....
I really can't think of a whole lot more to say, so I will sign off and think of something else to avoid star trek...
P.S. sorry to offend any star trek fans in the writing of this entry.

Lounging Around
All I have done today ...which is the last 4 hours is sit on this couch and lounge around and watch tv. Honestly there is ntohing wrong with that in my opinion. ANd its probalby all I am going to do today.
Yesterday I met up with kaitlyn and helped her move into her rez apt. whrere I completely blew off brian and shara, well I thought I was super late to met kate so I didn't want to waste time. OH WELL.....lol.
So I met kaite and the new brooks residents look super nice, kate was so excited to have her own place. After that we went to loblaws to get a few necceseties. I got yogurt and fruit to make smoothies with the magic bullet. We made our way back to her place, in the nice drizzle rain, which was nice since we were so hot. We then went to Zak's for dinner and eat wrap's and curly frites which was amazingly delicious and I reccommand to everyone.
She was theng oing to met up with some friends that live in michelle and marie's building so I told her I'd walk her over since she had no idea where she was going, but went we got there she realized that she didn't have the apt number and their name wasn't on the board, but she thought it was on the 17th floor so we went up to the 17th floor and were listening at the doors to see if she could hear any voices she recognized but she couldn't because we later found out her friends live on the 7th floor...lol...welll it should made for some laughs.
ANyways I totally love living in our new place, its so pretty, everyone is invited to come look and see.But I am slightly bored with sitting on the couch watching tv and movies all day so if the rain and cloudy icky weather ever lets out ...some one please give me a shout and we'll go out and go something.

Back to School
Well I am back in the city living in my new apartment. Everyhing is kind of unorganized, since the unpack is incomplete. So far, things are looking good. Sarah moved in today, and I imagine we will be seeing lots of her since she was already homesick and hadn't even left the house yet.
Kaitlyn is flying in today and I am going to go help her get settle since she's alittle nervous doing it this year without her parents, and rose will be here on wednesday, just in time for the linguistics presentation.
Dayna is leaving tomorrow from fort francis and should probably get here tuesday, she finally found a place to live in the glebe with a girl who is getting her teaching degree, which is good that she has a place to live, plus its not like dayna does anything or is going to be a big partier.
And I finally found a dress for steph's wedding. i got this super expensive dress( I didn't care at this point) that is black strapless with white flowers. Also, OMG I went to Aldo accessories , and got a necklace for $6 and it was buy one get one free, WHAT A BARGAIN!!! CRAZY....lol So now all I need to get is one shoes, I think I will just go to wal-mart and get some.

4-still doing nothing for the rest of summer that is shortly coming to an end
oh yes, JOSS is my new hero, for fixing all our internet problems after nick turpin screwed it all up....and 3for1 pizza is the best.

Random Topics
Its been awhile since I posted, usually I just like reading what other people write.Well, usually I am just too lazy to write something of my own. Lately I have done well ummmm, NOTHING
-The Vkh fair was lots of fun, hanging out with the old VCI girls and having Frankie coming was really nice. I was excited that adam watched it with me and everyone else cause I know he didn't really want to. And Todd was there which is really nice. I really like Todd and think he's a great guy, I am super happy that I took the time to get to know him this summer. He was just kind of like my adam replacement buddy for a while.
-ok well these are just totally random topics that are on the top of my mind, and in no particular order (just so you know). Today I paid tuitition and once again, I am a very poor student. This year I think is going to be alot tougher and tigher on money than last year, since I don't have my scholarships, but hopefully if I work just alittle harder I will get some of them back.
-Tonight I got to hang out with adam for the first time in forever, it's been almost a month since we just got to hang out, him and I watching movies and adam making me laugh with all the stupid stuff he was saying. Tomorrow is adam's last day at mcdonalds, well for the summer anyways. I can't wait till next weekend when we finally move it together. I am really looking forward to that and actually living in this apartment we have been talkign about for the past 6months. And I feel really good about living with Sam, he is definitely less crazy and less annoying that dayna (and hopefully won't pray for me). I just have a good feeling about all this, plus Sam and I used to be pretty good friends when we were younger and he does just like down the street. And we already know everything about each other.
-On monday, I am going shopping which I am super excited for since my mom is paying. I need to buy something fancy since adam and I are going to a wedding in two weeks, and then the day after is my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, soooo I am wearing the exact same thing. hee hee. PLus mrs. rutherford is having a party for something or other and my family was invited it's the day before the wedding on sept 7, the first day of school but I don't think I am going, although my parents probably will. But I am kind of excited for pretty clothes, and high heels, I like getting dressed up and feeling all glamorous.
-I am totally not lookign forward to school again, I am looking for to being in the city and not being bored out of my mind, and everyone having apartments or places, so we can actually hang out and do stuff and it won't be in rez, and I am not ready for the crazyness of assignments and goign to class and readings and all that stuff that comes along with it.PLus I REALLY need to find a job this year. This year I will actually try, so that will probably help.lol.
Anyways, yup yup, I feel as if my summer was pretty boring, but in all reality it was pretty fun. This first month was just working (blah blah), after that it was filled with getting ready for camp and shopping and having crazy adventures at camp with jenn (the wheelchair, and having everything unlocked and all the lights on, sooooo creepy). OH yeah, old staff weekend was really fun with the spooning. Pre-camp and camp was a complete and total blast. I am so happy I got to know the people that I never took the time to get to know before. (frankie, kerrie, the twins, todd). I just know that these are people that aren't going to be forgotten throughout the year and that I will keep in touch with, everyone in welcome to my place in ottawa any time. (just call again plz...lol) The I came home from camp and their was the sleepover at frankie's and the waterslide and shopping, which I have to say was the BEST time EVER!!!! then more work, and now summer fun, some hanging out with friends at the fair and actually getting to spend time with adam well for a couple of days before school starts. I feel like its going to be non-stop until next summer. SO i am trying to enjoy the last week and a half of summer left. Although I have some serious packing to do, I have alot more stuff than I thought.
Ok well, if you have read all of that ...GOOD JOB. lol. I promise to try and update everyone on my thoughts a little more often, also, I saw everyone's camp pictures, they are all very nice. I wish everyone a good end of summer and labour day weekend.
